The Dura disc is a partially inflated rubber disc that forms an unstable surface that can be used for strength training of the lumbar spine muscles.? The Dura disc can also be used in rehabilitation following ankle sprain (regarding balance and strength), following total knee replacement, hip surgery or shoulder surgery. The disc is a safer alternative to the wobble board that has previously been used in rehabilitation clinics.? It is also useful when retraining balance and preventing falls in the elderly population. Balance and trunk stabilising can be trained on the Duro Disc For further information regarding the Dura disc, contact? EMPC on +61 3 9370-5654 or contact@empc.com.au. Edit |
